One of the most popular British film in history, The Italian Job, released in 1969, starred Michael Caine and Noel Coward. It follows Charlie Croker, played by Caine, as he attempts to stop Turin's traffic and steal a shipment of gold.
It's best known for it's iconic car chase scene, and the oft-quoted line delivered by Michael Caine: 'You're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off'.
The HD remaster of the film is set to be screened at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, with composer and producer Quincy Jones' soundtrack performed by an orchestra and big band. The memorable score includes tracks 'On Days Like These', and 'Greensleeves (and All That Jazz)'.
