Based on Fredrik Backman’s comical and moving bestseller, A Man Called Otto tells the story of Otto Anderson (Tom Hanks), a grumpy widower whose only joy comes from criticising and judging his exasperated neighbours. When a lively young family moves in next door, Otto meets his match in quick-witted and very pregnant Marisol, leading to an unexpected friendship that will turn his world upside-down.

- Directed by: Alfred Hitchcock
- Cast: James Stewart, Doris Day, Brenda De Banzie
Not the 1934 original with Leslie Banks and Peter Lorre, nor the Bill Murray spoof with the 'Little' appendix, but Hitch's remake of his own film with the monumental James Stewart as the doctor on vacation in Marrakech who witnesses a murder and thereafter gets into all kinds of trouble. A passable remake.

- Written by: Alan Jay Lerner, George Bernard Shaw
- Cast: Audrey Hepburn, Rex Harrison, Stanley Holloway, Wilfrid Hyde-White, Gladys Cooper
Familiar screen adaptation of Lerner and Loewe's musical slant on *3Pygmalion2, notable for a catalogue of great tunes, Harrison's somehow endearing half-spoken singing, and Cecil Beaton's splendid costume designs (especially in the racecourse sequence).
