Allelujah is a warm and deeply moving story about old age. When the geriatric ward in a small Yorkshire hospital is threatened with closure, the hospital decides to fight back by galvanizing the local community: they invite a news crew to film their preparations for a concert in honour of the hospital's most distinguished nurse. A Christmas Carol

by Charles Dickens

Cornish actor David Mynne, veteran of the cliffside Minack Theatre, is back on Ledbury’s stage. Joy to all mankind? Bah!

Spend an evening in the company of a mean, tight-fisted, squeezing, grasping, clutching old miser. Bah!

Watch horrified as Ebenezer Scrooge is haunted by four creepy ghosts (wooo-oooh) each one more terrifying than the last. Bah!

Sob at the bedside of a tiny, malnourished child riven with rickets. Bah!

Stagger through the dark, dirty, dismal streets of Victorian London. Bah!

This is Dickens’ original words with added silliness. Silliness? Bah! BAH!

Celebrate the festive season with a mesmerising one-man performance of Charles Dickens’ timeless, transformative story: A CHRISTMAS CAROL. Bah! Humbug!

Suitable for adults and older children (9+)

Whats Wrong With Benny Hill?

What’s Wrong with Benny Hill? is a brand-new musical comedy by Mark Carey that explores the life and legacy of a very peculiar and brilliant comedian, who died alone in his spartan flat in 1992; he was 68. His body was undiscovered for several days.

Benny was, had been and still is, one of the most successful comedians of all time. When Apollo Eleven landed on the moon in 1969, millions watched live on TV but that evening many more had tuned in to The Benny Hill Show. Today, The Benny Hill Show is broadcast regularly in over a hundred countries around the world. In Britain, though, he has effectively been ‘cancelled’.

  • Cast: Rock Hudson, Lauren Bacall, Robert Stack, Dorothy Malone

A fine film and one of Hollywood's best ever melodramas. Four characters connected to a Texan oil family act on their passions rather than their intellects as love and desire concoct a tempestuous mix leading to tragedy. A prototype soap opera, but incisive in its criticism on the middle-class and notions of masculinity.
