Curzon Mayfair

There's been a Curzon Cinema on this Mayfair site since 1934, but it wasn't until the 1940s, when the lease was acquired by the Wingate family, that the cinema began to get a reputation as one of London's top arthouse cinemas, showing foreign language films in comfortable surroundings. The current building dates from 1966 and has two auditoriums, one with 311 seats and the other with 101, and it hosts at least a dozen premieres every year.

The cinema is served by the 14, 19, 22, 36, 38, 73, 82 and 137 bus routes (stop outside Hilton Park Lane) and the Green Park and Hyde Park Corner tube. The nearest NCP car park is in Carrington Street.
