Roddy Woomble is a Scottish songwriter best known as the lead vocalist of legendary indie rock band Idlewild. He has also carved out a rich and varied career as a solo performer, releasing five albums under his own name as well as a collaborative folk album, Before The Ruin, with Kris Drever and John McCusker.
