Adam Rowe: What’s Wrong With Me?

CKP and InterTalent Group Present

At 27 years of age, Adam is supposed to be in the prime of his life, which is a truly terrifying thought. Is this really as good as it’s going to get? It’s all down hill from here? Not if he’s got anything to do with it. ★★★★★ (Herald). ★★★★★ (Entertainment-Focus.com). ★★★★ (Telegraph). ★★★★ (Scotsman). ★★★★ (Chortle.co.uk). ★★★★ (TheWeeReview.co.uk). ★★★★ (ShortCom.co.uk). ★★★★ (Edinburgh Festivals Magazine).

Aqualung

After recently unveiling the new song ‘Fool’, the return of Aqualung gathers pace with the confirmation of headline shows.
Hales is currently putting the finishing touches on a new Aqualung album, which will be his first since the release of ‘10 Futures’ in 2015. He recently shared the new song ‘Fool’, which demonstrated that his flair for heart-wrenching, beautifully melodic slow-burners remains as strong as ever. Hales says, “A few years ago on a sunny morning I found myself writing a very Elton-y piece of music. I liked it and I made a voice note of it. I called the voice note ‘Elton’. A bit later I sent ‘Elton’ to my brother Ben and he wrote some lovely words and ‘Elton’ became ‘Fool’. And a bit after that we made a recording of it, along with a few other piano-y, meandering, grown-up songs that squished all together and turned into a new Aqualung album.” Expect to hear more new music from the new album soon.

Damian Lewis

Damian has played the classical guitar since he was 13-years-old. Quickly though, suspecting that he might be the “Second Elvis,” he graduated to the steel string acoustic so that he could sing Elvis in the mirror without fear of interruption. Busking in London and continental Europe through his early twenties, the rent money started coming in from acting and the guitar was parked up as a hobby until the time of CoVid lockdown and quarantine. The busking experience has stayed with Damian ever since and is reflected in his debut album.
Meeting with various London-based musicians, including Giacomo Smith, Damian wrote songs and found himself in the recording studio cutting tracks that will be released on his debut album titled, “Mission Creep.” The album will be out June 16, 2023. His band of five with jazz roots has a bluesy sound and the album is described as a thoughtful collection of rootsy, rock and jazz-tinged songs that reveal a deep love of music and a deep need to communicate.
