Tiger cubs Kumal and Sangha are seperated when legendary merchant Aidan McRory (Pearce) turns up in the Thai jungle to seize some Buddhist statues. Will the brothers be reunited after their many traumas? Annaud returns to the same territory of his 1988 hit The Bear, with exotic, thrilling and occasionally somnambulistic effect. This will just about keep kids and their parents entertained over its excessive length.
