Prize-winning author of Stardust, Coraline,* American Gods, *Neverwhere,* The Graveyard Book, *Good Omens *(together with Terry Pratchett), the *Sandman *graphic novel series, episodes of Dr. Who and The Simpsons, and many many more besides, the talented and prolific Neil Gaiman is an undisputed rock star of the world of literature and storytelling. Join him for this intimate Question and Answer event, shortly after he receives an honorary degree from the University of St Andrews. Neil will be ‘in conversation’ with Chris Jones (School of English) about his latest book *The View from the Cheap Seats and his Hollywood blockbusting film version of Beowulf, as well as taking questions from the audience on any and all aspects of his extraordinary writing career.

This event is free, but ticketed, and hosted with the support of The School of English, University of St Andrews.
