Ex-paratrooper James More (McAvoy) is captured and tortured while posing as a British aid worker, and his mind flashes back to his fling with marine expert Danielle Flinders (Vikander), who’s trapped in a submarine. Painfully contrived and on-the-nose non-thriller from Wenders, which sinks under the crushing weight of bad dialogue.
