Silent film with live musical accompaniment by Forrester Pyke. Rejected by a beautiful singer, a young scientist returns to his laboratory where he experiments with a new technique to resurrect the dead in an attempt to try and possess the woman he loves. An innovative piece of art deco cinema made in collaboration with Alberto Cavalcanti, Claude Autant-Lara, Robert Mallet Stevens and Fernand Leger.
